Biscuit omlette with strawberries & vanilla whipped cream

It's one of my favorite desserts. It tastes stunning with fresh strawberries that you can easily buy in the summer.
It takes only about 20 minutes and tastes like heaven :-)

Ingredients:

2 eggs
2 tablespoons of flour
1/2 tablespoon of cocoa
1/2 tablespoon of vanilla sugar
2 cubes of dark chocolate
200 g of strawberries
250 ml vanilla whipped cream (whipped cream
with one tablespoon of vanilla sugar)

Directions:

1. Separate glair from the yolks. Sift flour into a bowl, add cocoa and vanilla sugar, mix well.
2. Froth the glair. Then add the blended yolks. After about 30 seconds add the flour, cocoa and vanilla. At the end, gently combine it with the chopped chocolate.
3. Heat a lightly oiled frying pan. Cook like pancakes for about 3-4 minutes
4. Put it on a platter and serve with vanilla whipped cream and strawberries.

Shorts. Shorts!

Shorts are a tricky and generally unflattering beast.
But when the temperature is pushing 90 it’s hard not to acknowledge the benefits of a nice demi pant :-)

Summer makeup

Summer is full of pleasures — but melting makeup, sliding eyeliner, and supersticky lipstick are not among them.

I've put toghether this can't - miss list:

6 SUMMER MAKEUP TIPS

1. Primers are definitely the way to go in summer!
You won't regret the few seconds it will take to smooth on a primer, which goes on after moisturizer but before face makeup.

My favorite - Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer Light

(it's great for acne - prone, sensitive or oily skin)

$41,95 amazon.com

2. Lighten your face makeup.
Swap foundation for tinted moisturizer. These sheer formulas look and feel airer on skin and are less likely to turn cakey on steamy days.

My favorite - Korres Watermelon Lightweight Tinted Moisturiser SPF 30

(this clever little tube provides high protection against the sun. Oh and it smells of yummy watermelon!:)

$19.39

3. Bronze believably.
Bronzer makey your eyes look brighter, your teeth whiter. Everyone looks better with a little warmth added to their skin!

My favorite - Benefit Hoola

(the color inside is flat matte, not a sparkle to be found, making it utterly realistic for a range of skin tones. The texture is silky and won't get streaky, as long as you ditch the tiny square brush that comes with it and use a big powder duster instead)

$28,00

4. Try out vibrant color.
Summer is the perfect time to play up your makeup palette!
I like a punchy blush on the apples on the cheeks and tinted lip balms. They give you whisper - light color, and many even gave SPF to protect your from the sun.

My favorite - MAC tinted lip conditioner SPF 15

(heaven in a bottle :)

$23,90
amazon.com

NARS Orgasm Blush

(a soft and cheer look)

$28,00

5. Stop shine. Start glow!
To eliminte unsightly shine in seconds, nothing beats blotting papers. You just press and go!

My favorite - Bobbi Brown Blotting Paper

(they come in a cool, refillable decorative case that fitsinto small evening bags, making them ideal for a night on the town)

$20,00

6. Wade into waterproof.
If you tried waterproof mascaras once but found them less than stellar, it's time to give 'em another go.

My favorite - Maybelline New York Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara

(Humifity, swimming and tears are no match for this product)

$7,50
